About Wonderwalk
I’m Tom Söderlund, and I created Wonderwalk because I believe cities are full of hidden stories—waiting to be uncovered. I’ve always loved wandering through unfamiliar streets, wondering what used to be there, who walked these paths before me, what secrets the buildings might hold. But too often, we pass by places without really seeing them.
I wanted to build something that brings the past to life and makes exploring cities fun again. Not just for tourists, but for locals too—for kids, history nerds, couples on a walk, families on a mission. Wonderwalk is my way of mixing storytelling, discovery, and a little play. A way to see your city through fresh eyes, to feel connected to where you are.
This is more than an app to me—it’s a way to make everyday life more curious and meaningful. I hope it sparks that same sense of wonder in you that inspired me to build it.
